The Basics of Pronouncing Numbers in the American Accent

Remember that numbers (the actual digits) are read as individual words, so sometimes it can be difficult to know how to pronounce them.

For example, “6” is pronounced as /SIHKS/ , “40” is pronounced as /FOR-dee/, and "0" is pronounced as /ZEEE-roh/.
